Tanks on Wii Play is one of the nine games available. The tank by moving the control stick on the nunchuk. Shooting is done by pressing the B button and a bomb is dropped by pressing the A button. If the player's tank is hit by either a missile or a bomb, a life is lost. They get progressively harder, as stronger enemy tanks appear on higher levels. This fuel tank has a level gauge showing its current percentage full. Once you lose all your lives, you are done. This was the first Pokmon game that Inkbox played, and he added a few modern. There are 100 levels, but at first when you play Tanks for the first time you can go no further than Level 20. After you beat Level 20, then the game ends and you can go to Level 100 from that point on. The player must destroy all of the enemy tanks to score points. Multiplayer In multiplayer, the players work in cooperation to destroy all of the other tanks. Cant wait to see where this game goes when it is finally released. Overall the levels are challenging and offer tons of replay value in trying to 100 the game and setting new times. However, the player who destroys the most tanks wins the session. The physics of the game were very interesting and often led to some hilarious gameplay. Player 1 is the blue tank and the Player 2 with all the opposing tanks having tan stripes. The game keeps going until both tanks are out at the same time. Both players can progress with both alive as long as their partner doesn't end up dying too. The players have friendly fire active and can get out the other player out of the level. The players can only go up to level 20, but some of the levels have a different layout of enemy tanks or more of them. Types of Tanks and Abilities Brown Tank (Level 1+): Always stays in one spot (but can be pushed around by a moving tank). Is very slow to attack, and only shoot when the bullet would hit your current position. Their turret randomly searches for something to shoot at. Gray Tank (Level 2+): A slow-moving tank that fires a basic bullet. And in case you forgot, there's six of them - meaning that it's easy to make one wrong move and suddenly find multiple rockets coming from all directions.Be warned, these tanks can sneak up on you on higher levels.īlue Tank (Level 5+): Fires rockets that move twice as fast as a regular bullet but do not bounce off of walls. The layout of the map and their immobile nature means that you're forced to actively hunt down the tanks, and they can and will take advantage of the numerous walls to ricochet rockets into you with their signature laser-guided accuracy while you're trying to approach them. The map is for the most part divided into four quadrants, and the stage itself pits you against six green tanks. For such a simple game, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who didn't struggle extensively with it. Billiards to people who've never heard of the game. Spiritual Successor: Shooting Range and Tanks! are successors to Duck Hunt and Combat, respectively. The only way to justify buying it, much less at full price, was because of the Wii Remote included. So Okay, It's Average: The game is generally considered a decent time but most minigames have little substance and are really short, with only a few being worth playing more than once.Good luck if they're backing up other high-level tanks or if there are more than one of them. If you're not paying attention to them, one can easily snipe you from the other side of the stage and end your game seconds into the level. They attack in a way that makes it extremely difficult to predict where their rockets are coming from until they're in your face, making it hard to dodge or shoot down the rockets. However, what makes them so lethal is that they have incredibly good AI - they can predict movement, lead their shots, and calculate ricochets to hit players from across the entire map, all with impossible accuracy. They're effectively immobile turrets that shoot high-speed rockets which can bounce twice. But despite being introduced before the purple, white, and black tanks, the green tanks are almost universally agreed to be the worst of them all.Like the purples before them, fighting one in a direct confrontation is already a duel to the death - and they never come alone. Black tanks move with ungodly speed (fast enough to sometimes literally outrun your shells), rapidly fire high-velocity rockets, and have what is easily the best AI of any CPU tank bar maybe the greens.Outplaying one is already not an easy task, and if multiple attack you at once, chances are you're toast. Purples move fast, can have up to five shells out at once, fire in bursts, and are significantly smarter than most of the CPU tanks.
